Amazing anniversary dinner here! Service was exceptional! Felt important the entire time there. Food was excellent - Salmon melted like butter in my mouth. Had Hamachi and Salmon sushi roll for appetizer and it wa some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Our server, Savannah, was knowledgeable, attentive, and extremely friendly. Other servers jumped in and cleared dishes as they passed. Great experience!

We were really impressed with this incredible Seafood Restaurant. The seafood is delivered fresh, twice a day, seven days a week. The taste of the fresh fish speaks for itself … it was outstanding !! The scallops were almost melt in your mouth tasty !! The service was impeccable!! Atmosphere could only be described as warm and welcoming.
That said, there is one consideration….While the food was excellent, $45 for four scallops and a vegetable felt a bit steep. When paired with a $15 glass of wine, it becomes quite an expensive meal for many people. The quality is certainly there, but it’s something to keep in mind when planning a visit.**

Our food and drinks were delicious. But our server really made our visit a fun celebration. She was knowledgeable about the menu, made great suggestions and was an absolute delight. We always enjoy our visits to Buck & Rider, and the staff really adds to that experience.

Had an amazing anniversary dinner here! The Texas redfish and pull-apart bread were both delicious. First time at this location and our server John was very attentive and personable! Highly recommend!

My husband and I love to celebrate special occasions at Buck & Rider. I highly recommend priority seating/reserving in advance. Mary is an incredible server who took care of us today while we celebrated Valentine’s day. We loved the brunch options available and of course the fresh seafood and oysters were delicious as always. The banana cream pie is my absolute favorite dessert and therefore my favorite reason to go here 🤣

Buck & Rider Gilbert was a great place to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. It was very busy for a Tuesday night at 7 pm. There were a few hiccups but nothing worth noting except the chef’s refusal to prepare a Risotto entree without the shellfish due to a food allergy and desire for a vegetarian alternative. The Baked Potato & Broccolini was cold once delivered to the table (Not many vegetarian options at a seafood restaurant is to be expected) as well as the temperature in the restaurant.
Update:
The Managerial & Media team reached out to me regarding my dining experience. This was a warm and inviting gesture to have us return again. The staff during brunch were friendly and helpful. The kitchen staff ensured minor adjustments could be made to accommodate our vegetarian lifestyle. Example: Instead is Shrimp & Grits, we choose buttered grits with now shrimp or bacon sauce, Fish Taco without the fish adding more avocado, Crunchy Veggie Roll without the Tofu which marinates in fish sauce. These minor adjustments made the experience much more enjoyable. Thanks Staff for Making the Experience even more enjoyable.

Our first time here and I can say it won't be the last trip. Beisha, our server, made it a wonderful experience with helpful suggestions, answers to our questions and just friendly and personable. The drinks were amazing with what tasted to be fresh ingredients and perfect blends of alcohol and mixers. The food was fresh with extraordinary flavor and perfect seasoning. We tried appetizers, oysters, and entrees and each was just as great as the one before. The restaurant is perfect for a great seafood meal or a date night as well.

Everything about this place is good. Made reservations which seems like a very good idea even during the week. Service was perfect and they made several suggestions. Drinks were very good as well. Most of the group had seafood. The crab legs were pricey for a full pound, but they were super good. All the sides and apps were amazing. Tuna crispy rice app was great as everyone suggested. Going back sometime to try a steak and more seafood!

Buck & Rider in Gilbert is the kind of place that turns a regular dinner into a full-on experience. From the moment you walk in, the energy is warm and welcoming, with attentive service that feels personal without being over the top.
The menu is smart and well-executed—each dish shows care in both flavor and presentation. We tried several items, and every plate delivered something memorable. The entrees were balanced with thoughtful seasoning, quality ingredients, and an eye for texture that elevated familiar favorites into something special.
What stood out most was how well the flavors complemented each other. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything felt purposeful and satisfying. Portions were generous without being overwhelming, and pacing between courses felt just right.
The drink selection paired beautifully with the meal—creative, refreshing, and well crafted. Whether you’re into classic cocktails or more adventurous sips, there’s something here to please a range of tastes.
Overall, Buck & Rider is a spot we’d happily return to again and again. It’s the kind of restaurant that feels dependable yet exciting, perfect for a night out with friends, a date, or just a great meal any time. Highly recommend giving it a try if you’re in Gilbert.
